Madison Chiropractor Dr. Jeffrey Wilder

Introducing Dr. Jeffrey Wilder(East and West office)

Dr. Jeffrey M. Wilder has been a leader in chiropractic for over 25 years.  He is Board Certified in Chiropractic Orthopedics, a distinction held by less that one percent of the nation’s chiropractors.  In a addition, he is a certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician.

Dr. Wilder has served as a leader in state and national chiropractic organizations, and was the  President of the 1700 member Wisconsin Chiropractic Association from 1991-1997.  Dr. Wilder has lectured on chiropractic topics throughout the U.S.      He frequently serves as an expert witness in disputed cases, and works for the State of Wisconsin to resolve Workers Compensation disputes.

Dr. Wilder got interested in chiropractic when he was involved in an auto crash injury at age 16.  Dr. Wilder remembers, “Our family MD wanted to take me out of sports and put me in traction, but our family chiropractor got me back in the game quickly!”.

A cum laude graduate of Palmer College in 1981, his favorite clinical techniques include full-spine Thompson and Diversified.   Over the years, he has added proficiency in Graston, Activator, Sports Taping, and other techniques, as well as a full range of physical therapy modalities, including decompression, ultrasound, and electric muscle stimulation.  Patients are taught the right method for doing the right exercises to help their conditions.

“I enjoy practice because each case and every patient is unique”, states Dr. Wilder.  “I don’t believe in the same, cookie-cutter treatment for every patient. Our goal is to find a combination of techniques that are comfortable and effective for each one of our patients.”

Madison Chiropractic Asks some important questions of interest to Madison residents - Chiropractor Madison Madison Chiropractic Asks...

Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage. Can chiropractic help? Find out!
What causes subluxations?
Chiropractors acknowledge three types of stress: physical, chemical and emotional. When the adaptive capacity of your body is compromised, weakened areas along the spine can become involved. Muscles tighten, spinal joints lock up and nearby nerves are affected. The purpose of chiropractic care is to find these areas and restore balance, alignment and motion.
